Welcome to Mr. Bummer's Meatless Tacos. The Blog where ideas and concepts about what it means for the human species to be sustainable are discussed, mulled over and ruminated. These ruminations go beyond the media-driven "Green" living spin on life and the profit-motivated debates over climate change, global warming and resource usage. The questions asked as the topics unfold deal with the simple yet intense idea that the continued existence of the human species relies on whether or not that species reveres the earth.

This Blog is an adaptation of a written project that involved several interviews and a year and a half to complete. Once per week, most likely late Wodensday or (Thursday) nights, I will introduce and post chapters either individually or in related clusters. Any and all opinions and critiques are encouraged, provided they are constructive and serve to move the discussion forward. Comments will be reviewed before being posted.

Please join in the fun and excitement of being Bummed out and then realizing it'll all be OK, or at the very least over with fairly quickly. Maybe you'll have an idea to throw into the mix that may save us all from utter extinction. Maybe a species or two will be saved because of something you write. Maybe someone will change their mind in the quiet sanctuary of their thoughts when all the noise is off. Maybe connection will be achieved. Maybe.
